The Minong Flowage (Lake Minong) is a highly desirable lake in Northwestern Wisconsin. It is 1564 acres in size and is similar to the Canadian wilderness. There are numerous islands with little bays to explore. The shoreline is heavily wooded with Pines & Hardwoods, and the lake sports abundant walleye and also includes northern, bass, and pan fish. It is considered a sportsman’s and recreational lake with good quality lake water. Some tannin coloration provides favorable sport fishing and sandy bottom provides good recreational swimming.

Canoeing & kayaking on the Namakagon River provides day long excursions with multiple in and out access points. The scenery is pristine and breathtaking.
Winter: Cross-country skiing nearby, downhill skiing at Spirit Mountain (45 minutes) or Lutsen Resort (2 ½ hours).
